I will trust in Jesus, He is always near,
If I stay close by Him I need never fear;

Jesus is in Heaven praying now for me,
That His faithful foll'wer I will always be;
He knows I'll be tempted all along the way,
But I have His precious Word to guide me day by day.

God, the Holy Spirit, lives within my heart,
Sent by God the Father, never to depart;
He will help me live for Jesus every day,
He will teach me, guide and keep me all along the way.
