ABRAM: A FRIEND OF GOD

 Abram was faithful and obedient.  God called him "My friend".  This song encourages children of all ages to want to be a friend of God, too.!!

VERSE 1

God said to Abram, we are told,  "I want you now to go
Unto a strange land and to you the way I'll surely show."
He hastened to obey the Lord and trusted to the end.
His faith was counted righteousness and God said, "He's my friend!"

VERSE 2

I want to be a friend of God like Abram long ago,
I'll trust in Him each day although each step I may not know.
I want to be a friend of God;  He's done so much for me!
His Son He gave, my soul to save, that day on Calvary!
